Biography

Sue Haywood is an Assistant Professor (Adjunct) in Organizational Behaviour at the Smith School of Business, Queen’s University. She has extensive leadership experience in both the public and private sectors, having held executive HR roles at Canadian Nuclear Laboratories, Atomic Energy Canada Ltd., and PepsiCo. Haywood's research focuses on the intersection of artificial intelligence and education, organizational culture, and the future of work. She is a veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces, having served as a commissioned officer in the Regular and Reserve Forces. Haywood holds a Doctor of Business Administration in Human Resource Management from Walden University, a Master of Arts in War Studies from the Royal Military College of Canada, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Dalhousie University. She has also earned a postgraduate certificate in Health Services Administration from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Higher Education Teaching Certificate from Harvard.
