Biography

Professor Peters’ research interests are broadly in neural control of human movement. Her projects incorporate mobile brain and body imaging methods, primarily using EEG and fNIRS, together with EMG and IMUs, to increase understanding of the neural mechanisms that support naturalistic locomotion. Ultimately, her goal is to apply these findings to optimize mobility recovery for individuals post-stroke.
