Biography

Sue Sinclair is an Associate Professor at the University of New Brunswick, specializing in poetry and literature. Her latest collection, 'Beauty: New Selected Poems' (Goose Lane Editions, 2022), won the New Brunswick Book Award for Poetry. Sinclair has authored four poetry collections, including 'Heaven's Thieves', which received the 2017 Pat Lowther Award. In 2014, she served as the inaugural critic-in-residence at the Canadian Women Literary Arts (CWILA). Sinclair's academic interests encompass aesthetics, ethics, theories of beauty, ecopoetics, and the intersection of literature and philosophy with contemporary poetry. She is also a poetry editor at Brick Books.
