Biography

Sukalpa Basu is a lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania, responsible for teaching the General Physics sequence (PHYS 101 and PHYS 102). With a Ph.D. from Temple University obtained in 2010, Dr. Basu specializes in theoretical and computational condensed matter physics. His research interests include strongly correlated electron systems such as heavy fermion systems, single impurity models, and Kondo lattices.
