Dr. Sukyeong Pi

Biography

Sukyeong Pi is an Assistant Professor at the Michigan State University College of Education. Her research interests focus on program evaluation, state vocational rehabilitation services, transition for youth with disabilities, and rehabilitation issues related to individuals with developmental disabilities, including the psychosocial aspects of disabilities. She has been involved in Project Excellence since 2010 and joined the Office of Rehabilitation Disability Studies as a research associate. Currently, she serves as the principal investigator on a project aimed at enhancing educational outcomes for students with disabilities. Sukyeong earned her Ph.D. from Michigan State University, with a focus on fostering better transitional support for youth with disabilities in educational and vocational contexts. Her work aims to bridge the gap between rehabilitation services and effective educational practices, promoting better outcomes for individuals facing challenges due to disabilities.
