Biography

Sulafa Zidani is a scholar of global digital culture and serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Studies at Northwestern University. Zidani's work has appeared in several academic journals, and she is a co-editor of the upcoming anthology, 'Intersectional Internet II: Power, Politics, and Resistance Online.' An award-winning educator, her course 'Studying Internet Culture' received recognition for its innovative approach to analyzing popular internet formats and culture. Zidani is also engaged in public writing and has presented her work at various international venues.
