Suncica Travan received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Zagreb, School of Dental Medicine in Croatia. Her accolades include the Nevins BioHorizons Fellowship awarded in 2017 and the Outstanding Clinical Faculty Award in 2010 from the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation. Additionally, Travan is the current president of the Russell W. Bunting Periodontal Society and serves as the associate program director of the International Team for Implantology Scholarship Center at the University of Michigan. Outside her professional pursuits, she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
