Biography

Suneet Singh is an affiliate faculty member at Dell Medical School with a background in emergency medicine. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science with honors from the University of Maryland at College Park in 1998 and obtained his M.D. from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2002. Following his education, Singh completed his residency training in emergency medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Memorial Hospital, finishing in 2005. After moving to Austin, he began working clinically with Emergency Service Partners and later with Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin. Singh has held leadership roles such as chairing the Medical/Ambulatory/Critical Care Peer Review Committee and serving on the Medical Executive Committee. He became the Emergency Medicine Student Clerkship director for Ascension Seton Family Hospitals at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 2010 and assumed the same role at Dell Medical School in 2017. He is a core faculty member of the Emergency Medicine Residency and mentors the Developing Outstanding Clinical Skills course, focusing on clinical skills and leadership. Singh is also the assistant medical director of On-Track Operations at Circuit of the Americas and has a special interest in health care delivery at mass-gathering athletic events.
