Biography

Sunil Gurmukh is currently an Adjunct Research Professor at Western Law, Western University, and has accumulated over 13 years of experience as a human rights lawyer. In 2019, he was recognized as one of Canada’s top 25 influential lawyers by Canadian Lawyer Magazine. Notably, he is on a leave from his role as Counsel at the Ontario Human Rights Commission, where he was employed since 2011 after working at the African Canadian Legal Clinic as a Staff Lawyer.
