Biography

Professor Sunil Shaunak is an Emeritus Professor in Infectious Diseases at Imperial College London. His pioneering work has demonstrated the value of combining university drug discovery with industry drug development, resulting in practical solutions to improve health worldwide. In recognition of his contributions to Infectious Diseases Drug Discovery, he was awarded the OBE in 2023.
