Biography

Surbhi Sidana is an Associate Professor of Medicine specializing in the treatment of multiple myeloma and related disorders at Stanford University. She leads the Myeloma CAR-T/immunotherapy program and has a broad research portfolio that includes clinical trials of novel therapies, translational research, and epidemiologic studies. Her research focuses particularly on immunotherapies such as CAR-T cell therapy and bispecific antibodies, and she has published over 100 research manuscripts in these areas. Sidana completed her Internal Medicine residency at the Cleveland Clinic and her fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the Mayo Clinic, where she also completed an Advanced Hematology Fellowship focusing on Myeloma and Amyloidosis. She joined Stanford University in 2019 and has since led the development of programs focusing on CAR-T therapy and bispecific antibodies for myeloma. Sidana is actively involved in multiple national and international professional societies and holds various leadership positions, including Chair of the Committee on Communications for the American Society of Hematology.
