Biography

Susan M. Akram is a Clinical Professor and Supervising Attorney at Boston University's School of Law, where she directs the International Human Rights Clinic. Her scholarly work focuses on immigration, asylum, and refugee issues, particularly regarding human rights in the Middle East and the Arab world. She has been recognized with the Fulbright Senior Scholar Teaching and Research Award for the academic year 1999-2000.
