Susan Allan is affiliated with the Northwest Center for Public Health Practice, serving as Director from July 2008 to February 2013. She was a member of the Institute of Medicine’s Board on Population Health and Public Health Practice from 2006 to 2012 and has been extensively involved in the accreditation of schools and programs in public health, serving as a member of the Council on Education for Public Health from 2004 to 2010 and chairing more than ten accreditation site visits in various countries. From 2008 to 2013, she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the School of Public Health’s journal, Northwest Public Health.
