Dr. Susan Blair is a professor at the University of New Brunswick, focusing her research on the archaeology of New Brunswick since the late 1980s. Furthermore, Dr. Blair has co-authored a volume on the archaeology of the Atlantic region and published several works on pre-contact archaeology in New Brunswick. Since completing her doctorate in 2004, she has engaged in long-term collaboration with Metepenagiag Heritage Park to investigate the archaeological heritage of the Mi’kmaq Nation. Currently, her research interests encompass pre-contact technology, copper working, stone tool fabrication, and pottery textile manufacturing, as well as community-driven research in indigenous archaeology.
