Biography

Dr. Susan L. Cohn is a prominent figure in the field of pediatric oncology, holding the position of Professor at the University of Chicago. She has dedicated her career to caring for children with neuroblastoma and has been at the forefront of clinical and translational research aimed at understanding the biological mechanisms behind high-risk neuroblastoma. Dr. Cohn has been instrumental in developing risk classification algorithms through her leadership in the International Neuroblastoma Risk Group (INRG) Task Force and the Children's Oncology Group (COG). Appointed the inaugural Director of the Faculty Scholars Program in 2020, she leads efforts in faculty development within the University of Chicago’s Comprehensive Cancer Center and continues to impact pediatric hematology and oncology significantly.
