Biography

Susan Crowell is a Professor at the Residential College and the Penny W. Stamps School of Art & Design at the University of Michigan, where she has been teaching since 2005. She holds an M.F.A. from the University of Michigan's School of Architecture and Design, earned in 1972, and a B.F.A. from the University of Michigan, obtained in 1969. Crowell was a Fulbright Scholar who studied architectural ceramics in Italy and has collaborated with Italian ceramic artists.
