Dr. Susan Jack

Biography

Susan Jack is a Professor and the Dorothy C. Hall Chair in Nursing Research at McMaster University. Her esteemed career is deeply rooted in public health nursing practice and educational research. Dr. Jack focuses on the program research development, evaluation, and scale-up interventions aimed at preventing and addressing family violence, as well as promoting maternal and child health outcomes through home visitation programs. Her dedication to the field has led to significant contributions in enhancing health outcomes in vulnerable populations. Dr. Jack's work spans multiple aspects of nursing research and education, and she is committed to translating evidence into practice to improve public health. She holds a PhD from McMaster University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alberta, and completed her Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University. With her extensive background and commitment to health education and research, Dr. Jack continues to be a leading figure in her field.
