Biography

Susan L. Moffitt is the John Hazen White Professor of Public Policy and Chair of the Political Science Department at Brown University. Her research combines political science and public policy to explain the barriers confronting policy development and implementation in public education and public health. Notably, she co-authored the book "Reforming Reform: Problems in Public Schooling and the American Welfare State," published by the University of Chicago Press in 2023.
