Dr. Susana La Porta Drago

Biography

Susana La Porta Drago is a lecturer at Yale University, specializing in Architecture Practice Management. With 30 years of professional experience, she has primarily worked with Pelli Clarke & Partners, where she became a partner and led design management for large-scale projects across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Susana has dedicated her career to projects that celebrate cultural context and in 2023, co-founded La Porta Drago | Zemborain Architects. She is actively engaged in multi-family residential master planning projects and has contributed to the architectural community as a co-chair for the Connecticut AIA Professional Knowledge Community. Additionally, she has participated in events as an NCARB Scholar and has served as a guest speaker at numerous institutions including the Bienal de Arquitectura de Buenos Aires and Universidad de Buenos Aires. Susana holds a Master of Architecture from Cornell University and a Diploma in Architecture from the Universidad de Buenos Aires.
