Dr. Susanna Fellman

Biography

Susanna Fellman is a Professor of Business History at the University of Gothenburg, where she holds the Torsten Söderberg Ragnar Söderberg Chair. She completed her PhD in Economic Social History at the University of Helsinki in 2001 and has since focused her research on professionalization, modernization, management, and competition policy from a historical perspective. Her work has explored topics such as family businesses, corporate networks, and labor market issues, with a particular interest in methodological questions related to corporate archives in business history. Fellman is currently engaged in various research projects, including an analysis of international cartels in the 20th century and a study on the reindustrialization of the Swedish textile and clothing industry from 1970 to 2005. She has published extensively on subjects related to business history, competition policy, and corporate governance, contributing to numerous scholarly articles and edited volumes in the field.
