Dr. Susanna Ho

Biography

Susanna Ho is a Full Professor at the Australian National University. She completed her PhD at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2004, with her doctoral dissertation examining how web personalization influences online user behavior. Her academic career began at the University of Melbourne in 2004 as a Lecturer. In 2008, she joined the Australian National University as an Associate Professor and was promoted to Full Professor in 2013. Her research portfolio reflects a continuing interest in judgment and decision making, big data analytics, management turnovers, internal control, material weaknesses, and corporate social responsibility. Susanna has published extensively in high-impact journals including MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, and the Journal of Business Ethics. She has served as a Senior Editor for MIS Quarterly and has been involved as a co-editor for various special issues. With a commitment to academic mentorship, she actively supervises doctoral students and chairs research tracks at significant conferences. Her contributions to teaching and research have been recognized through various accolades, including the Vice-Chancellor’s Citation for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning in 2020 and the MIS Quarterly Outstanding Associate Editor award in 2018.
