Dr. Susanne Grimm

Biography

Since 2018, Susanne Grimm has served as a lecturer in Copyright Law at the Faculty of Law. She was previously an expert in Competition and Design Law at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt since 2017. As an attorney at Rödl & Partner in Stuttgart since 2022, her main focus includes Intellectual Property, Copyright, IT Law, and Data Protection Law. From 2017 to 2022, she worked at Löffler-Wenzel-Sedelmeier PartG mbB, also in Stuttgart, emphasizing Intellectual Property and Data Protection Law. She has been a specialist attorney for Intellectual Property since 2013 and has been practicing law since 2009. Susanne obtained her doctorate in law (Doctor iur) in 2008 and has advised on various aspects of Intellectual Property rights, emphasizing out-of-court and court enforcement of trademarks, designs, copyright, and competition rights both domestically and internationally. Her work includes strategic consultation for the registration of intellectual property rights, management of rights portfolios, and drafting of critical contracts related to intellectual property and data protection. Her published works discuss significant court rulings in European law and contribute to ongoing dialogue in legal scholarship regarding consumer protection and advertising restrictions.
