Biography

Susanne Murphy is an Assistant Professor in the School of Rehabilitation Therapy at Queen's University. She has had an extensive academic and professional career focusing on Occupational Therapy. After completing her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy at Queen's University, she pursued a Master of Science in Occupational Science (Post-professional) at Dalhousie University. Notably, her recent research projects cover areas such as safety planning for suicide prevention, the impact of post-traumatic stress disorder on children in military-connected families, and the needs of individuals living in the community. Susanne is dedicated to developing innovative evaluation tools for fieldwork in Canada and supervising graduate students in their research endeavors.
