Dr. Sushant Srinivasan

Biography

Sushant (Sush) Srinivasan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, specializing in pediatric critical care. He serves as the medical director of the UW Health Clinical Simulation Program and is actively engaged in providing simulation-based education in the clinical setting. Having previously served as program director for the UW Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship, he has contributed significantly to the education of residents and fellows in this field. His clinical work primarily involves attending physician duties at the pediatric intensive care unit and the pediatric sedation clinic, where he focuses on resuscitation, ECMO, and sedation practices. With a strong background in medical education, Dr. Srinivasan is dedicated to advancing training methodologies and faculty development in the context of medical education simulation. His interests include the development of novel curricula and qualitative methods to improve simulation debriefing processes for aspiring medical professionals.
