Generate a tailored SOP for Dr. Sushil Misra. Improve your application with a focused, well-structured draft.
Sushil K. Misra received his Ph.D. in Physics from St. Louis University, Missouri, specializing in condensed matter physics. He conducted post-doctoral research at the University of Toronto. His current research focuses on both theoretical and experimental Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR). He operates advanced EPR spectrometers and conducts experiments studying functional materials like dilute magnetic semiconductors and high-Tc superconductors. Misra has supervised numerous Ph.D. and Master’s students, and collaborated with researchers at Cornell University's ACERT. His work includes theoretical studies on pulse EPR techniques and extensive applications in spintronics. He has published over 303 papers in peer-reviewed journals, primarily in EPR, and has received consistent funding from NSERC for over 50 years. Misra is also a referee for prominent journals in Physics and Chemistry and has edited books related to EPR.
