Biography

Suzanne Aussems is an Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Warwick, where she has been serving since July 2025. Before that, she was an Assistant Professor from July 2020. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Culture Studies from Tilburg University and furthered her education with a Master's degree in the same field. Following her BA, she pursued a joint MPhil in Language Communication at Tilburg University and Radboud University Nijmegen. Later, she earned her PhD in Psychology at the University of Warwick from 2014 to 2017. During her academic career, she held postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Warwick and worked as a postdoctoral researcher in developmental psychology at Royal Holloway, University of London from 2019 to 2020. She is involved in Master's research and PhD student supervision and collaborates on various projects. Her research interests broadly cover the area of behavior research.
