Biography

Dr. Suzanne Mitchell is an Adjunct Associate Professor at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, specializing in Family Medicine. She holds a medical degree from Wake Forest University and a Masters of Science in Clinical Research from the University of California, Los Angeles. With expertise in family palliative medicine, Dr. Mitchell has conducted extensive research on cross-cultural communication and health disparities. Her research interests include cultural competency, shared decision making, transitional care, motivational interviewing, and the use of health technology to enhance patient safety and informed choice.
