Dr. Suzanne Tucker

Biography

Suzanne Tucker joined the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of New Brunswick in 2016 as a Teaching Professor, focusing on the Accounting area. She previously taught at the Faculty of Business at UNB Saint John for nine years, serving in various capacities as both a part-time and full-time instructor. Her teaching excellence has been recognized with the Departmental Award for Teaching Excellence in 2012 and the Faculty Excellence Award for Teaching in 2014. In addition, she has been nominated for the Dr. Allen P. Stuart Award annually since 2012. Ms. Tucker is a professional accountant, holding CPA and CMA designations; she was awarded Fellowship in 2014, which is the highest national honor given to accountants for outstanding achievement in their career and community contributions. With 20 years of leadership experience across private, public, and not-for-profit sectors, she is also an active entrepreneur. Furthermore, Ms. Tucker is deeply involved in the CPA professional education program, serving as a facilitator, session leader, and technical advisor. Her primary role is concentrated on teaching accounting at the undergraduate level, and her academic interests include accounting, performance management, and holistic wellness.
