Dr. Svante Schriber

Biography

Svante Schriber is a Professor of Business Administration at Stockholm University, specializing in Management Organization. He earned his PhD from the Stockholm School of Economics, where he conducted research until 2014 before taking on his current position. His research primarily focuses on corporate strategy, with significant work done in the fields of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), particularly in areas such as target selection, integration, and synergy realization in dynamic markets. His publications have appeared in leading international academic journals, and he has authored and co-authored several books on M&A and strategy management. In addition, he has substantial experience in practical strategy work and has been involved in executive education programs tailored for experienced managers across various industries. His teaching has been recognized for its quality, and he has been nominated for teaching awards. Schriber has also worked as a Research Fellow at the Management Center Innsbruck in Austria and has been a visiting researcher at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. He has received research funding from various prestigious institutions.
