Biography

Swapnil Pawar graduated in Anaesthesia from PGIMER, Chandigarh, India, and is a trained Intensivist in Australia. He is a fellow of the College of Intensive Care Medicine and holds a European diploma of intensive care. He completed advanced training at the Simulation Centre of Medical Simulation in Boston and has been awarded the Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) qualification by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare. His research interests focus on using simulation to improve the quality and safety of diagnosing systemic problems, as well as applying innovative medical curriculum practices and massive transfusion techniques. He runs an educational website to promote evidence-based practices in Intensive Care and has contributed significantly to the field through workshops and educational programs.
