Professor Dr. Sydney Dy

Biography

Sydney Morss Dy is a Professor of Health Policy Management at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where he holds a joint appointment in medicine oncology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is dedicated to improving cancer survivorship care through his role in the Primary Care for Cancer Survivors Program at Green Spring Station. With expertise in areas including palliative care, internal medicine, and pain symptom management, Dr. Dy has contributed significantly to the field, particularly in managing symptoms related to cancer. He earned his M.D. and M.Sc. in health services research from Stanford University School of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship at Johns Hopkins. Dr. Dy joined the faculty in 2001 and has been actively involved in cancer case management programs, leveraging his clinical expertise to enhance patient care and outcomes.
