Biography

Tabby Kennedy is a Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She joined the Department in July 2010 after completing a two-year fellowship at UW–Madison. Dr. Kennedy earned her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania and completed her residency at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology in St. Louis. Her clinical expertise lies in head and neck imaging, particularly focusing on head and neck cancer, temporal bone, and sinonasal imaging. Dr. Kennedy is a well-recognized trailblazer in medical education, having won numerous teaching awards for her efforts in mentoring and supporting medical students, residents, and fellows. Recently, she was appointed the Joseph F. Sackett Professor of Radiology for a five-year term starting July 1, 2023, reflecting her exceptional record of service to the Department and the broader medical community. Additionally, she received the GWIMS Impact Award, recognizing her commitment as a mentor and advocate for women in science at the University of Wisconsin.
