Dr. Tailen Hsing

Biography

Tailen Hsing is a Michael B. Woodroofe Collegiate Professor in the Department of Statistics at the University of Michigan. His research primarily focuses on extreme value theory, limit theory, dependence, and functional data. He emphasizes high-dimensional parameter estimation and cross covariance, specifically in conditioning functional variables.
