Biography

Taiwo Adetunji Osinubi is an Associate Professor in the Department of English and Writing Studies at Western University. His research primarily focuses on postcolonial literature with an emphasis on the literatures of Africa and the African diaspora. He is particularly interested in African Black life writing, various forms of the novel, and cinema. Osinubi's scholarly work has been published in reputable journals such as Research in African Literatures, the University of Toronto Quarterly, and the Cambridge Journal of Postcolonial Literary Inquiry. He holds a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of British Columbia, obtained in 2006, and a Master's degree in German and English Philology from Johannes Gutenberg University, attained in 1997. Currently, he is on leave and is not accepting supervisions at this time.
