Biography

Talia Konkle is a Professor of Psychology at Harvard University, where she specializes in cognitive neural organization in relation to high-level visual experience. Her research employs a combination of behavioral techniques, human functional neuroimaging, and computational modeling approaches to characterize representational spaces of the mind and discover how they map onto the surface of the brain. Konkle received her Ph.D. in Cognitive Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and completed her undergraduate work in Cognitive Science and Applied Math at the University of California, Berkeley. She joined Harvard as an assistant professor in 2015 and was promoted to a fully tenured professor, effective January 1, 2023. Her research interests include cognitive neuroscience, high-level vision, object representation, and neural organization.
