Professor Dr. Talitha Feenstra

Biography

Talitha Feenstra is a Professor at the University of Groningen, specializing in pharmaco-economics. She has an extensive background in operations research and management science, with a particular focus on economic evaluation and health technology assessment (HTA). Her expertise includes patient-level modeling and the evaluation of precision medicine. Feenstra has held significant roles in various health research committees, including membership in the Dutch National Health Care Institute's guideline revision committee for economic evaluations and the ZonMW committee for dementia research programs. She was also a senior researcher at the Centre for Nutrition, Prevention, and Health Services Research at the RIVM. Feenstra's work aims to enhance the understanding and implementation of economic evaluations in healthcare, contributing to better health outcomes through informed decision-making.
