Biography

Tamar Milne is a lecturer at the UBC Sauder School of Business, focusing on applied experiential learning in marketing and behavioral science. With decades of experience in marketing, communications, sales, and sustainability, she is committed to preparing students to lead responsibly in their respective fields. As a core member of UBC Sauder’s responsible business teaching team, Tamar has designed and delivered courses on sustainability, ethics, and social entrepreneurship. Her teaching excellence has been recognized through various awards, including the Len Henriksson Award for student engagement in 2024 and the UBC Killam Teaching Prize in 2012/13. Since joining Sauder in 2007, she has developed a broad portfolio of courses across undergraduate and graduate programs. These include Business Fundamentals, Values, Ethics, and Community, Public Relations, and several courses in the MBA program, such as Ethics & Sustainability and Marketing Strategy. Tamar is actively involved in promoting sustainability in business education, having served as Chair of UBC Sauder’s Sustainability Ethics Group and as a Teaching and Learning Fellow at UBC’s University Sustainability Initiative.
