Biography

Tamara Dunn is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Division of Hematology at Stanford University School of Medicine. She has a strong commitment to medical education, workforce diversity, and creating inclusive workplaces. Currently, she serves as the Program Director of the Stanford Hematology/Oncology Fellowship and also holds the position of Associate Chair for Diversity and Inclusion in the Department of Medicine. Additionally, Dunn is a member of the inaugural American Society of Hematology (ASH) Ambassador Cohort, where she serves on the ASH Women in Hematology committee and co-chairs the steering committee for Stanford’s Leadership Education Advancing Diversity (LEAD) program. Passionate about treating underserved veterans, she practices at the Palo Alto Veterans Hospital and focuses on classical malignant hematology. Outside of her professional commitments, Dunn enjoys singing, dancing, sports, board games, movies, and spending quality time with her friends, family, and her three young children and spouse.
