Biography

Tamas Gombosi is a leading space plasma physicist and the Rollin M. Gerstacker Professor of Engineering at the University of Michigan. He holds a PhD in Physics from Lóránd Eötvös University in Budapest. His research spans several areas including planetary exploration and theoretical space plasma physics, with specific focus on kinetic theory and global simulations of space plasmas.
