Tamsin Ford is a Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the Head of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Cambridge. Her research focuses on the effectiveness of interventions and the efficiency of services in the mental health sector for children and young people, with a particular focus on the interface between education and health systems. Professor Ford completed her PhD at the Institute of Psychiatry, King's College London, where she set up the Children Young People’s Mental Health Research Group at Exeter Medical School in 2007.
