Dr. Tan Ince

Biography

Tan Ince is a Professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Cornell University. His academic research focuses on the mechanisms of cancer initiation and progression, with a particular emphasis on breast and ovarian cancers. He has contributed significantly to the understanding of cancer stem cell biology and the role of various molecular pathways, including hormone signaling and gene regulation in tumor development. Ince has authored numerous publications in high-impact journals, exploring the interactions between different signaling pathways and their implications for cancer treatment strategies. His work combines both laboratory-based research and clinical insights, aiming to translate findings into effective therapeutic approaches. Throughout his career, Ince has been recognized for his innovative research and has received funding from prominent institutions, including the National Institute of Allergy & Infectious Diseases.
