Professor Dr. Tania Rubaiyyat

Biography

Dr. Tania Rubaiyyat is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Western University. She leads the Primary Care Memory Clinic and serves as the Medical Director of Dearness Long Term Care. With a broad scope of practice, her expertise includes ambulatory care, long-term care, home visits, community palliative care, women’s health, dementia care, and diabetes care. Dr. Rubaiyyat is committed to enhancing patient care and has developed several programs focusing on memory care and chronic disease management. She collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic and comprehensive care to her patients. Her academic interests include advancing medical education and improving primary care practices. Dr. Rubaiyyat also engages in community outreach and education, working to promote health literacy among diverse populations. She is dedicated to improving the quality of care for vulnerable individuals and actively participates in research to support evidence-based practices in family medicine.
