Taniya Nagpal is an Assistant Professor at the University of Alberta in the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation. She actively collaborates with maternal healthcare providers to develop resources aimed at improving attitudes towards weight and reducing stigma. In addition to her research role, she is engaged in various health promotion organizations and enjoys spending her free time with family, practicing yoga, and watching movies.
