Biography

Tara Javidi is a Professor and the Founding Faculty Fellow at the Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute, University of California, San Diego. She is a co-director of the Center for Machine-Integrated Computing Security at UC San Diego. Her research focuses on stochastic analysis, design, and control of information collection, processing, and transfer in modern communication networked systems. She has worked on a variety of projects, including DetecDrone, which involves target search technology using drones.
