Biography

Tara Pride is an Assistant Professor in the School of Occupational Therapy at Dalhousie University. Her research focuses primarily on Indigenous health and well-being, emphasizing community-driven engagement and mentorship. Additionally, she is a principal investigator with the Wabanaki-Labrador Indigenous Health Research Network, contributing to initiatives that elevate community-identified priorities in advancing Indigenous health in the Atlantic region. Throughout her academic journey, she has published several works highlighting the intersection of Indigenous experiences in health education and practice.
