Biography

Tasha DeWitt graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor's degree in Health Science. After completing her bachelor's degree, she pursued her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Indiana Wesleyan University. Following graduation, she worked as a pulmonary nurse at IU University Hospital in Indianapolis, where her research interests in caring for cystic fibrosis patients developed. Later, she transitioned to the intensive care unit at IU Health Arnett in Lafayette, Indiana. Tasha returned to academia to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Nursing Education from Ball State University in 2019. Subsequently, she began her career as a Lecturer at the School of Nursing at Purdue University, where she teaches a freshman course on nursing fundamentals. In 2022, she started her PhD in Nursing at Purdue University.
