Biography

Tayebeh Mousavi is a Lecturer in the Department of Engineering at King’s College London. Her research primarily focuses on the manufacturing and characterization of advanced materials, particularly superconducting materials. Tayebeh aims to understand the correlation between processing, microstructure, and properties of advanced materials to address industrial challenges related to materials performance in engineering applications. She received her PhD from the University of Oxford in 2015, supported by a Clarendon Scholarship. Before joining King’s College London as a lecturer in 2022, she served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Materials at the University of Oxford. Her educational background includes a B.Sc. in Materials Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology and an M.Sc. from Isfahan University of Technology. Throughout her career, she has received numerous awards and recognitions for her work, including the Literature Review Prize from the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3) in the UK and the Innovative Woman Award in Iran.
