Biography

Taylor Brysiewicz is an Assistant Professor at Western University in London, Ontario. His research focuses on numerical algebraic geometry, particularly the development and application of numerical algorithms to study solutions of polynomial equations. His current research themes include automation algorithms for enumerative problems, analysis of randomized algorithms in numerical algebraic geometry, examination of monodromy groups over sparse polynomial systems, applications of probabilistic group theory in monodromy algorithms, as well as low-memory methods for solving polynomial systems and certification methods in numerical algebraic geometry. He has co-authored works including research on circular orchard planting and the nine-point synthesis problem. He has been recognized as a regional winner in mathematics physics for his undergraduate thesis. Brysiewicz is actively involved in the academic community, attending and organizing significant conferences in the field.
