Biography

Taylor McKee is an Assistant Professor in Sport Management who is dedicated to analyzing the sociocultural intersections of sport and society. With a commitment to nurturing students' intellectual curiosity, he helps develop the academic skill set necessary for success in Sport Management. Taylor has published extensively on subjects including Olympic History, Sport Residential Schools, Hockey History, Monuments and Historical Memory, as well as Masculinity in Hockey. Currently, he serves as the Managing Editor of the Journal of Emerging Sport Studies and is actively involved in the Indigenous Hockey Research Network. Taylor is also a member of the North American Society for Sport History, the North American Society for the Sociology of Sport, the Canadian Sociological Association, and the Canadian Association for Sport Policy.
