Biography

Taylor Sellers grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and earned his medical degree from the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine in 2019. He completed his internship and residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics (now University of Iowa Health Care) in 2024, during which he served as chief resident and received multiple teaching awards, including Clinical Resident Educator of the Year and Medical Student Educator of the Year. Dr. Sellers came to the University of Wisconsin Department of Radiology as a cardiothoracic imaging fellow before joining the Section of Thoracic Imaging as an assistant professor (clinical health sciences) in 2025. His professional interests include medical education, innovation in education, and artificial intelligence/machine learning.
